My eldest son, for some reason I’m not even going to bother trying to explain, long before he was born I somehow “knew” he was going to be a boy and his name would be Aidan. (I’ll leave it up to the reader to philosophise over the whole thing of preminitions, messages from god, psychic abilities, whatever - I questioned all that shit for far too long, it all creeps me out and I don’t wanta think about it)
So anyway, once he was born I named him Aidan, and left it at that.
Now, over 11 years later I actually took the time to look up stuff about his name and birthday:
He wants to be in the Air Force when he grows up, with his Plan B if that doesn’t work out for him, being a fireman.
Aidan - Irish name meaning “little fire”. Possibly originating as a pet name of Aodh, the Celtic God of Fire and the Underworld.
St Aidan - Catholic Saint attributed with a miracle of saving a town from burning down by praying and the wind suddenly changed direction, blowing the fire away from the town and instead towards the attackers that started the fire.
His zodiac sign is Saggitarious = fire sign
He most certainly has a firey little temper on him.
Now to break that up, his chinese zodiac is Earth Rabbit… Had it been Fire Dragon I’d have freaked out, so phew!
That’s my little fix of trivia learned for the day.
